Salvador Dali’s full name was: Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech, He was born May 11, 1904 in Figueres, just inland from Cadaques and died January 23, 1989)
Salvador Dali’s Cadaques
Dali was a Spanish surrealist painter of Catalan descent who spent much many of his holidays in Cadaques. Dalí is best known for his bizarre surrealist paintings. He was a man of considerable technical ability whose best known painting is perhaps The Persistence of Memory, which he finished in 1931.
Salvador Dali was also interested in film, sculpture, and photography.
